Kat Tucker

Hello, my name is Kat! I have been working in the veterinary field as a technician for over eight years. I started my journey into this field in the beautiful state of Tennessee at Lincoln Memorial University. After completing my Associates Degree and passing my state boards, I became a Certified Veterinary Technician. Wanting to further my education, I moved to Kentucky and finished my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Veterinary Medical Technology and became Kat, CVT, B.S.

With a new excitement and love for animals, I jumped into veterinary medicine head first! Wanting to experience the more extreme side of this field, I found myself in emergency and critical care. After many years in this fast-paced environment, I gained valuable knowledge and experience that I continue to utilize to this day. I developed a special interest in anesthesia and emergency and critical care. I then moved into general practice medicine and have proudly been part of the Cordova team for the past three years.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my Great Dane, Dani, who is truly my heart and soul. In my free time, you can find me playing billiards (amateur league) or singing and playing my guitar.
